Wii Music?

In an effort capture some of the popularity of Guitar Hero and Rock Band, Nintendo has announced the creation of "Wii Music" which will be showcased as the premier Wii game for the holiday season.

In a demonstration wii controllers were used to emulate drumsticks and bashed on virtual drums, the Wii Balance Board was used for a bass pedal. and a Wii remote, when held it close to the mouth essentially played a virtual saxophone. "Wii Music" was devloped at the same time as "Wii Sports," "Wii Play" and "Wii Fit."

The game will include about 50 instruments, including piano, violin and guitar — each of them played with the appropriate gestures. The game also includes lessons on how to play the drums and a music-video creation tool.

No Camera's For Radiohead Video

Radiohead's video for "House of Cards" will make even the most-informed tech wiz shake his head. The clip uses a state-of-the-art technology called Geometric Informatics to create images of the band. Not one camera was used in making the video. Instead, the video is made using lasers. Frontman Thom Yorke says, "I always like the idea of using technology in a way that it wasn't meant to be used. I liked the idea of making a video of human beings and real life without using any cameras.
