End Music Discovery: Bjork Remixes

Music is a curious thing. On the one hand its a primary affair, a direct sensory intercept created solely to stimulate the ears and the mind. In other ways it's a welcome distraction, something that can take hold, and take you away. The ever so majestic Bjork is a master of the latter, and when worked over by some of the greatest left field producers currently cutting tracks, the effect is only heightened. Today we're approaching 2 tracks from her latest Biophilia remix effort, one by So-cal electro-punk clan, Death Grips and the other from Warp records artist Hudson Mohawke (if you're about the beats, he's your guy). Death Grips abrasive avant guard rhythms turn "Thunderbolt" on it's head, while Hudson crafts a beautiful bombast ceremony of horns and gigantic drums on "Virus".
