Lamb of God Frontman Charged with Manslaughter

Jul 05th | categories: Music, Music News

An interesting and sad story out of Prague - where Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe has been arrested and charged with manslaughter.

He was detained last week after the band landed in the Czech Republic for a show at the Rock Cafe. It goes back to a show in 2004 when a 19 year old fan named Daniel N. was allegedly pushed off the stage by Blythe. The fan hit his head and died a couple of weeks later of a brain hemorrhage.

As you can imagine there are a lot of big questions about what really happened that night. Did Blythe really push the fan? Was security involved? Was the fan jumping on his own (stage diving?). Anyone that's been to a rock show knows that there are plenty of ways for people to get hurt. If your unlucky - serious injury is possible.

Right now the band is in their hometown of Richmond, VA while Blythe remains in Prague on $200,000 bail. He faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.

Below is footage of the 3 separate times the fan was on stage via The Gauntlet

sorry to be a grammar nazi or whatever, but "if *you're unlucky - serious injury is possible".
