What to expect at Timbrrr! Winter Music Festival
If you grew up in the PNW then chances are you have probably spent some time in the Bavarian Village that is Leavenworth. Plenty of Schnitzel, Christmas-themed shops, and a Nutcracker Museum. But have you ever been to a music festival in Leavenworth?
Well, over the last few years, Leavenworth has also become home of The Timbrrr! Winter Music festival.
Timbrrr! is happening this weekend (Jan. 27th & 28th), which means music lovers and some of the best up and coming bands around are heading up the mountain.
The festival will be headlined by The Thermals this year and the lineup boasts some of our favorite Locals Only artists like Crater, Sloucher and Tomo Nakayama. Like all festivals put together by Artist Home Booking, the 2017 Timbrrr! Winter Music festival features plenty of bands you might not be familiar with, but you should be excited about.
This is the festival where you go to find your new favorite band. Just wait till you see Ings or Honcho Poncho or Delvon Organ Trio.
In addition to a killer lineup of musicians, Timbrrr! has plenty of other activities for you and your friends or your family to enjoy while you're in town.
Of course there will also be skiing, snowboarding, and sledding if you want to play in the snow. You can get discounted lift tickets to Stevens Pass by clicking here.
The Leisure Games will be back this year and will include Ladderball, Corn-Hole, Washers and I am holding out hope that my personal favorite hammerschlagen is back as well. If you like a little danger with your backyard games, then hammerschlagen is the game for you.
If you want to try some great beer and or wine there are plenty of options all over town for that. Perhaps the biggest attraction of the weekend (in the beverage department) is the hot toddy garden. Say it with me: HOT. TODDY. GARDEN.
The real attraction at Timbrrr! is obviously all the live music. If you are still somehow on the fence about this festival you can sample music from the lineup below. If you want to know what all the other festivals will be booking in the next couple of years, head to Timbrrr! this weekend.
