If you haven't figured this out by now, I am a Harry Potter fanatic and proud of it! I have yet to sip on a Butterbeer at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, but it's a goal for 2018. What we all can do though, is walk through a replica of Diagon Alley right in Ballard! We have Jon Chambers to thank for this magical experience:

That detail though! Incredible.

Jon said he gathered up some of his friends and neighbors to help him turn his driveway into Diagon Alley and they finished the first leg in about 2 weeks! Jon's children were the inspiration for this magical project and apparently they keep on inspiring because Jon & Co have been adding on to Diagon Alley since Halloween! You can now experience the walk through Gringott's Bank (children's playhouse) and the Leaky Cauldron. (and yes, Jon says there will be Butterbeer for sale!) Donations at the door will be going to pancreatic cancer research.

**This weekend when you go walk through, bring the little ones because a certain jolly man in a red suit will be hanging out from 1pm-6pm! (Dumbledore Santa, I KNOW HIM!)

Ballard's Diagon Alley can be found at this address: 7514 13th Ave NW in Whittier Heights, across from the elementary school.

Maybe I'll see you there!  Accio car keys!
