After a couple of musical "misses" last year (Lana Del Rey, Sleigh Bells - sorry you guys you shouldn't have been on the show) - the folks at SNL have asked for suggestions about who should play the show.

You'll have the opportunity to let 'em know what you think 1 day a month - via Facebook and Twitter - for the specific show they determine.

From Spin:

“Please, stick to the designated days. It will make your suggestions so much easier to track and keep our feeds open on ‘non-suggestion’ days to other interactions with all you wonderful people. Thanks!”

Of course "opening things up for suggestions" doesn't mean anything beyond that - SNL can take or leave what people are "suggesting" which is probably a good thing. Truly opening up something like this to a general vote would almost certainly yield results that are (at best) 3% positive and 97% negative
