Woah! Saving My Hearing Got Way Better

Sep 19th | categories: Music, Nerd Stuff

Someone told me that the average person goes to one concert a year! That's crazy because i see so many people at Summer Camp, Deck The Hall Ball, Sasquatch etc. You know you've been to a great concert when you go home and lay that sweet little head on that comfy pillow... and can't sleep. DAMN THE RINGING!
For years i've been using those terrible foam earplugs to avoid killing my hearing at shows/Seahawks games. They cut out sooo much sound and make it feel like you're listening through ham sandwich. Mmmmm. I want something that preserves the sound of the guitars without killing my eardrums and I had some money left over for medical expenses that expires soon. So, why not get rad custom earplugs made?!

This attractive lady puts this gross pink goop into my ear.

It looks like someone put LOTS of bubble gum in there:

After one 5x5x5 rubik's cube solve (5min) here are what the molds look like before they mail em to the manufacturer:

Today, I went to the Listen for Life Center at Virginia Mason to pick up my finished product!

I got bright orange cause I simply don't care if anyone knows I ENJOY PROTECTING MY HEARING!!! You don't stare into the sun because you wanna keep seeing, right?

Here they are side view:

Old man hair there... WHATEVER!

And finally, from the front-ish:

My, how handsome! So next time you see me at a show, i'm going to enjoy the music without it being reduced to ass. I'll follow up on how well they work!
