The people of Warren, Ohio have come up with a perfect way to honor their hometown hero Dave Grohl.

According to the Youngstown Vindicator: the plan is to create 2 gigantic 900 lb drum sticks as a tribute to the former Nirvana drummer.

This monstrosity will be unveiled this Saturday at concert (not Foo Fighters) at the Warren Ampitheatre where they'll be displayed until September. After that you'll have to check 'em out at their permanent home of Dave Grohl Alley (a real place in town)

According to Rolling Stone: "the final touches were recently added to the sticks with feathers etched in to mimic the tattoos on Grohl's arms"

No word on whether Grohl will show up for the ceremonies
