James Murphy is the sorta guy you just wish was your dad. Ok, little harsh, lets try that again. James Murphy is the sorta guy you just wish was your rad uncle. Dude is super cool, funny, quick, and of course a total encyclopedia of killer music (not to mention he's written a few alright tunes of his own). He appeared on Fallon tonight promoting his documentary Shut Up And Play The Hits, which chronicles the final days and performances of LCD Soundsystem. It doesn't take long for the interview to stray however migrating not only to LCD's origins but also James' early brush (off) with fame and Seinfeld. Not to mention we get to see the man make a little music since the last time the band took the stage. Enjoy the whole thing courtesy of The Audio Perv below.
