The Neighbourhood End Session 02.23.13

Feb 24th | categories:

Sometimes you can just tell that an up and coming band has something special. We've heard the hit single by the Neighbourhood 'Sweater Weather' and there is no doubt it is a great song. I learned yesterday during an End Session at the Hard Rock Cafe that these guys have a lot more in their arsenal than one catchy single. Lead singer Jesse Rutherford displayed his silky vocals for a crowd that lined up around the block to catch the End Session before the Neighbourhood played their sold out show at the Crocodile later in the evening.

Check out The Neighbourhood performing "Sweater Weather":

Jesse called out asking for requests when a fan answered "Say my name." The band obliged and played a great version of the hit song and I can't help but think if Beyonce would have heard it she would seriously consider getting some hand tattoos to emulate this version!

Expect VERY big things from the Neighbourhood in the very near future.

One last video, yeah?

They were SO good, definitely worth the drive. Is there video of the the show? I was trying to describe to someone his interesting perfomance, but it would be much easier if she could see it! My favorite new band, by far.
