The National: New Album Details and Doc

Mar 01st | categories:

The National has finally announced a date (kind of) for the follow-up to the much loved "High Violet" but there is still no title. The album will be released in May sometimes. I know this sounds vague but it's all they are saying. Along with that news comes some tour dates though they are pretty much all on the East coast or in Europe. Why is this important? Because The National is great, that's why? Really great. Just watch this video:

In other news the band is having a documentary made about them by lead singer, Tom Berninger's brother. The film will be called, "Mistaken for Strangers" and premier at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 17th so I guess the rest of us will have to wait see all the great music and shenanigans happened on The National following the release of "High Violet." Maybe this post isn't as informative as I would have liked to have been but I've been waitingfor this.
