Snowden flew out from Texas and New York to perform in front of a modest Seattle crowd at Barboza last night. I was introduced to the mastermind of the group Jordan Jeffares by a man from Bellingham that went to high school with him. I wasn't sure what to expect going in to the show. Jordan's friend was so enthusiastic about Snowden though that I found myself sharing his excitement and anxious for the show to start. It took a couple of minutes to get set up with computers and a super slick I-Pad guitar pedalboard that I had never seen before (don't yell at me if this is common...I'm a bit behind the times when it comes to that stuff).
The show started and they immediately transformed from 3 guys standing around chatting to passionate performers completely engulfed in their music. There was only around 60 people or so in the small room but it might as well have been a sold out show at Key Arena as they put their heart and soul into it. That's all I ever ask for from a band and Snowden delivered. Check them out here: Snowden
