Seattle has one of the most disturbing tourist attractions!?

Mar 10th | categories: Art, History, Local

Of course we do! It's our beloved Fremont Troll. To anyone who hasn't grown up in Seattle, the troll can come off as a little creepy. Especially when people are "sacrificing" animal heads to it. Ewww. Do you remember that story from a couple months back? People aren't right. Anyway, put together a list of The 11 Most Disturbing Tourist Attractions Around the World and our troll made the cut. Find out why over here.

The gum wall is nasty, but uniquely Seattle. My first apt. was in Fremont and we watched the artist(s)put together the troll. He is eating a Volkswagen! We love it and of course it brings in those necessary (tourist) dollars. My apartment cost 125.00 ea. month, in 1976, and I would still be there if developers wouldn't have ruined it. I lived there for 8 years with no rent increase. "Those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end!" Maybe we should start another renters movement, so we don't have to move out to bland areas with no soul, just strip malls.

I visited Seattle about 2 months ago during my charleston to new york bus tour but I have no experience of this attraction. During my trip I only visited Space Needle, Woodland Park Zoo, Chihuly Garden and Glass and Seattle Art Museum. But after reading about Fremont Troll in this post I have great wish to go there again and see this unique spot.
