Sallie Ford and the Sound Outside hit the stage at Neumos Thursday night before Thao and the Get Down Stay Down and rocked my world! Under dark lights periodically illuminated by the Neumos disco ball, Sallie Ford demonstrated her powerful vocals and quick wit to the sold out Seattle crowd. One of the best bands I've seen come out of the Portland area in a very, very long time. Their sophomore album Untamed Beast was recently released and I highly recommend you pick a copy up!
