Apple figured out the simplest lesson of all, people love looking at pictures. Their retina display looks incredible. I know this because the ass-hat in the row in front of us at the Sounders match last night used his from the minute they arrived until the end of the game. STOP IT.



I'm not sure why the iPad needs a high resolution camera (now multiple!) other than "let's annoy the shit out of the people behind us at EVERYTHING." It's not like from 30 rows up those photos are worth a damn but at least he's got 70 billion of them. Until you can attach one of those elephant trunk looking super zooms to an iPad, you'll live with just a single snapshot, Ansel Adams.
