CCFA Team ChallengeTriathlon

For the last couple of years Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready has been very open about his struggle with Crohn’s and Colitis disease. While opening up about his own fight - he's also fought hard to raise money to support research that will hopefully one day help find a cure.

The organization he's been most closely associated with is the Seattle chapter of the CCFA. Their next big event is the Team Challenge Triathlon which is an endurance training program designed to raise funds for the CCFA, as well as trains novice athletes over a 16-week period to complete a sprint triathlon.

The Seattle team already has over 30 members and is hosting a fundraiser at the Bal Mar Lounge on Friday, June 22nd. Mention The End and you'll get a $10 wristband that will hook up happy hour specials all night long with all proceeds going to the CCFA.
