Marcus Mumford Breaks Hand - Forced to Cancel Shows

Bad news for Mumford & Sons fans hoping to see the band at festivals in Denmark & Sweden this weekend.

The band was forced to cancel these shows after frontman Marcus Mumford broke his hand last weekend.

The official statment says: "No other Mumford and Sons shows are expected to be affected." which means either:

1) Marcus Mumford is tough as nails
2) Marcus Mumford has super human healing powers
3) Marcus Mumford didn't break his hand

Either way - the band will be more than fine when it comes time for them to head stateside in August. Unfortunately, as of now there's no NW show to look forward too BUT there is a new album coming this fall we'll all be able to enjoy

This is a bummer but you forgot to add one important option: 4) They're looking for a stand-in guitarist so they can continue performing with Marcus solely on vocals until he recovers. I'm willing to bet that's the case and one that's not easily remedied over night, especially when Marcus's guitar playing is fairly unique. Slainte! www.daveowensmusic.com
