Legendary Tacoma Band Needs Your Help
Legendary Tacoma garage rock band Girl Trouble is on the cusp of celebrating 30 years as a band in 2013. Their music/influence has stretched far and wide in those 3 decades - leaving a lasting impression all true fans of rock music.
To celebrate this truly incredible feat - the band has planned a 30th anniversary book and documentary. However, they need your help to get it done. Check out their Kickstarter page right here
On a personal note - even if you have never heard of Girl Trouble - please trust that this is the type of band that you want to support. Their unwavering passion for playing music and supporting rock can only be described as 100% pure. They have played clubs, toured in vans and done what they have done for 30 years because they truly love music with a passion that most bands (on The End and most other radio stations) wish that they had.
Girl Trouble has been able to avoid all the bad cliche's of rock (petty break-up's, hollow pursuits of fame etc) by staying true to their unbridled love of music and not letting anything else get in the way. Has it made them the richest band on the planet - no - however, there's a strong arguement that they are one of the most pure. Their story is nothing short of remarkable and deserves to be told
