Lawyers suing Courtney Love for defamation are trying to convince Frances Bean Cobain to testify against her mother.

They want to explore statements made by FBC after a recent Twitter tirade Love went on suggesting that Dave Grohl was sexually interested in FBC. At the time FBC said "Twitter should ban my mother." and "While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship and very happy."

The actual legal case surrounds Rhonda Holmes - of law firm Gordon & Holmes who was mentioned in a 2010 tweet by love that said: "I was fucking devastated [sic] when Rhonda J Holmes esq of San Diego was bought off. I've been hiring and firing lawyers to help me with this."
