Life's been pretty good for the Black Keys the last couple of years. Hit records, millions of new fans, sold out arena rock shows - all tell tale signs that you've arrived.

The next step in the "we're a huge band" checklist is a tribute record in your honor.

Black on Blues - which is set to be released on July 17th features Keys tunes covered by Devon Allman, Dave Davies, Papa Mali, Tab Benoit, and Cyril Neville and most importantly: Iggy Pop. The godfather of punks version of "Lonely Boy" (with Cream drummer Ginger Baker) serves as the lead single for the comp.
