By now you've likely heard the news that Green Day will start their North American tour (after a couple of one-off festival dates) here in Seattle.
The show happens on 11/26 at the tiny (for Green Day) Paramount Theatre - with tickets going on-sale to the general public. Since the announcement, we've gotten TONS of calls, texts, FB messages etc about how people can get tickets.
Initially we were told that there would no pre-sale - however, that changed today when we found out the promoter was indeed going to put some tickets on-sale early. As with most pre-sales - there is a very limited amount AND the people buying pre-sale tickets are usually the most enthusiastic fans (or scalpers). The point being - you're gonna need to be very quick and a little lucky to snag these.
Terrible time trying to buy presale tickets. It kept telling me my email address was wrong and so on. I finally gave up after being told by the phone automated lady that tickets weren't on sale yet. I work graves at the hospital and had to get to sleep. I checked the Facebook page for the end and saw that people were having problems but were finally able to get tickets. I tried again and was offered GA. I'm young at heart, but at 49, I'm not standing all night, but I don't want to miss the show so I bought them. I'm hoping when I try on Friday at noon that I can get good seats then I will sell my GA tickets. I was so excited for the show and still an, just wish the process for buying was easier.
