Yesterday, fans started lining up at noon. Moments before the doors opened at WAMU around 7PM the line stretched farther than the eye could see. According to the opening artist Kimbra, the largest crowd of the tour packed the huge room for an amazing sold out performance by Foster the People. They put on a great show at Deck the Hall Ball last December but their headlining act last night was scary good. Mark Foster was amped up running back and forth across the stage like a caged animal, banging on the keyboards and feeding off the overwhelming energy of the crazed fans. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the show.
