Ever wondered how musicians deal with festivals?
There's always a few people in the crowd at festivals like Sasquatch, that are seasoned vets in the music industry. They've been both behind the scenes and in the front row. Why does this matter? Well, if you ask your friend how Sasquatch was this year, they'll probably say "It was awesome! I had so much fun, Macklemore was the best" but if you ask an industry vet, they're gonna give you a less enthusiastic, more realistic answer. And they probably checked out the promising up and coming acts no one's heard of instead of the headliners. The Seattle Weekly asked Allen Stone's guitarist (who I totally hung out with yesterday by the way) to document his trip to Sasquatch as only a musician could. It's a pretty great read. Check it out here.
