End Music Discovery: Wavves - "Hippies Is Punks"

Remember when Wavves released one of the best records in 2010 w/ King Of The Beach and then went on to put out a lame EP, Nathan kicked everyone out of the band, and generally we all lost interest? Well apparently he felt like reminding us why we listened in the first place. Dropping a killer track for Adult Swim's 3rd annual single series, "Hippies Is Punks" unabashedly channels the same 3 peice Nirvana pop hooked punk riffs that are perfect for the string of summer days we've been in luck with. It might not be the full length follow up we've been hoping for, but it sure does quench a thirst. Have a listen below...
