End Music Discovery: The Killers - "Runaways"

The Killers return w/ Battle Born. The new album which comes to us 4 years and change following the release of Day & Age and finds the gentlemen back in familiar territory.

Emerging victorious after a long bout in the studio with not one, but a slew of top notch producers (Daniel Lanois, Steve Lillywhite, Damian Taylor, Stuart Price and Brendan O’Brien), the album steps away from the "Pop Band" antics of their last effort and aims to slip back into "what we're good at" as Brandon Flowers puts it. And though we have to wait till the fall to see if they've succeeded for certain, today we get our first taste of what to expect with Runaways, a track that falls very much in stride with what the boys set out to achieve.

Enough waiting around though, have a listen below and judge for yourself. Hell, listen twice if you like. This is America, isn't it?
