End Music Discovery: Sweet Valley - "Eternal Champ" Mixtape

Nathan Williams of Wavves seems like... a bit of a twat at times to put it lightly. That said, he made one of my favorite records of 2010, dropped one of my favorite tracks of this year, and now delivers an incredibly fresh mixtape on our ears under the moniker Sweet Valley, so it's tough to ignore the guy. Now, if you've been paying close attention (and if you haven't I dont blame you) you may have noticed some of the tracks I've been posting and songs I've been sneaking into Ultrasound are very beat oriented, and perhaps a bit more challenging. This tape is no exception. Heavily relying on the emerging genre of Trap mixed w/ video game samples (whaddup Zelda) it's more of an audioscape adventure than a song by song stand out listen (much like the games it samples). So my best advice is go in with an open mind, and put it on when you've got time to cruise with it. But I'll shut up already. Stream/download/enjoy below...
