Why wait until an official release date to get a first listen? And so it goes with Queens of the Stone Age's latest offering "...Like Clockwork." You can stream the album via iTunes here. The album, which pulled some pretty high praise from Anthony Bourdain by way of Spin saying:
"Whatever kind of strange and terrible mutation slouched out of the irradiated California wasteland in 1996, it’s evidently still around," Bourdain writes of his good buddies, before shifting over to the band's long-awaited follow-up to 2007's Era Vulgaris. "Whatever happened — out there, in whatever desert arroyo, former meth lab, decommissioned missile silo, nuclear test site, underground laboratory, convergence of brain waves and gamma rays, QOTSA emerges with not only their best work to date, but one of the most ambitious, fully realized rock albums in recent memory."
Josh Homme also contributed to the theme song for "Parts Unknown" - Bourdain's new show.
