Seriously, it's never a bad day to post about Elliot smith. Seriously, with all the synth pop, dubstep stuff thats out there overstimulating your ADHD brain. Sometimes it's good to just slow down and remember the sounds that come out of the northwest, and Mr. Elliot Smith... unfortunately will never any new sounds, but hey, there's still an abundance of alternate takes and demos under wraps, and in celebration of what would be the song writer's upcoming 43rd birthday, Kill Rockstars have unleashed an unreleased version of the brilliant "Alameda". As well as for the month of August, all of Elliot's catalog will be onsale for $49 and his compilation (a fantastic place to start your ES collection) An Introduction To... will be onsale for $4.99.
