End Music Discovery: Crystal Castles - "Plague"

I must admit, I'm a little let down by this latest offering from Crystal Castles. Perhaps I'd set my expectations too high after being totally surprsied and blown away by their second self titled effort (up until then I'd loathed CC). The new track plays very much off the formula they discovered with their last couple records. Brash synths, Alice Glass' violent vocal stylings, however the verses find something new, in her soft gentle airy melodic whispers. Certainly worth a listen, and definitely make note of the opening sound... a nod to aliens? (or if that reference escapes you, perhaps more recently, the Prometheus trailers). Have a listen below...
