End Music Discovery: Band Of Horses - "Slow Cruel Hands Of Time"

Ever since Band of Horses ditched their indie label roots, and relocated out of Seattle, they've never really been able to catch that same, tender, gut wrenching songwriting that made us fall in love with them in the first place. Trading slowburning indie anthems for more southern tinged laid back rock, but w/ this latest offering from the forthcoming "Mirage Rock" I think we finally start to see a bit of a return to form, and it pays off in the best away. Sounds a lot like 70's era Neil Young(just less whining). Good stuff.
