Sep 21st | categories: Music, Music News

Yesterday - Eddie Vedder helped to raise approx $1.7 million for President Barack Obama's re-election campaign.

The Pearl Jam frontman played four songs at a fundraiser that cost $20,000 per person to attend. Approx 85 people attended the party at the home of Lisa deBartolo (Daughter of the ex-owner of the San Francisco 49ers) - including the President himself.

Vedder rocked mandolin versions of "Rise," "Without You," "Millworker" (James Taylor cover) and "Rockin' in the Free World." (Neil Young Cover) while adding:

"I can't say I've ever played that many songs in a suit before,"

He then proceeded to introduce President Obama - which you can see below
