EVENT: Linda's Fest

The third annual event taking place at the "fest"'s namesake, Lindas Tavern, is definitely my recommendation of what to do with your Saturday night this week. Not only does Lindas have one of the best porches to drink on a fine Saturday night like the one we're expecting tomorrow, but the line up is a who's who fo local bands right now, stacked from top to bottom.

Out of the gate you've got Trashfire, a brand new band featuring the many talents of former School Yard Heroes/ Current Vendetta Red bass-man, Jonah Bergman. After that it's Grave Babies who are currently signed to Sub Pop sister/brother label Hardly Art (and I can assure you they don't sign just anyone!). Then onto Walking Papers who you may not know by name but you'll certainly know the people in it, Duff Mckagan (Guns N Roses), Barrett Martin (Mad Season), and Mike McCready (Pearl Jam) wait, whhhhattttt. Yeah. and that's not even the end of it. Next up you've got Nightmare Fortress which I promise will be as doomy and ominous as the name lets on (I mean their last synth soaked outfit was called Sleepy Eyes Of Death, how bad can it be?) and headlining is the absolutely insane live, Reignwolf who you may have caught playing on top of a van at Sasquatch (and also kinda the roof of that place they sold cd's) it was bananas and made jack white look kinda weak.)

All this for the low low price of your washington state 21+ ID. Starts at 6pm, DONT BE LATE this shit is gonna get packed. More details here.
