Drugs Inc: Seattle's Skin Crawling Drug Scene

Oct 18th | categories: Local, TV

NatGeo turned the attention of it's "drugs are scary" show, Drugs Inc, to the streets of Seattle and our surrounding areas from Capitol Hill north to Kenmore and south to Renton. The first segment seems a little staged, but the effects of Molly are creepy, "when you dance, it's like your whole body... is out of your body… #ughh. The show goes real dark when the attention is turned to our heroin problem, "they say the space needle is a giant junky beacon, they weren't lying." It's pretty long, but I made it to the end and am creeped out now. Great.

Yeah. This right here. As a mother of a kid who went to rehab 5 times before the age of 23. The heroin segment here makes me all kinds of sick. I'm not sure the marijuana segment is as terrifying. Big difference of seeing your kid in an ER with dead veins vs. medical marijuana use.
