Let’s play devil’s advocate…maybe everyone that works at adidas is afraid to speak up in marketing meetings…maybe they are in a hurry and realize questions slow things down hence the reason why no one coughed, “slavewear”…

What about just "impractical"? now Ive gotta lace em and lock em? How many would just drag behind as you ran to catch up with your friends. Work on those Percy Jackson shoes with real wings. For serious.
